Medeu-cimbulak cable car — a cable car in Almaty from the Medeo sports complex to the cimbulak ski resort via the Medeu tract, was opened in 2011.
The cable car has a length of 4.5 km from the Medeo sports complex to the Shymbulak ski base. The new gondola road takes no more than 15 minutes to get to the ski slopes. you can climb to a point at an altitude of about 3000 meters, where the snow never melts and there are stunning views
