The ethnographic complex “Evenk village” was opened in 2012. It is located 830 kilometers from Blagoveshchensk, near the village of Pervomayskoye in the Tyndinsky district, where more than half of the Evenks of the Amur region live.
The “Evenki village” consists of several buildings with different purposes: a museum, a hunter’s house, a workshop, a bathhouse. Guest houses, as well as tents and tents are provided for the accommodation of tourists.
Guests of the complex enter the territory through the chichipkan, or “holy gate”, in order, according to beliefs, to receive purification of thoughts and soul under special songs and fire smoke.
The meeting of the guests is accompanied by the national ceremony “Ulganni” (fumigation, purification from evil thoughts, an appeal to make your stay on the Evenki land prosperous). Visitors get acquainted with folk craftsmen. Master classes on making souvenirs that you can take with you are held on the territory. In the village, you can ride deer or take pictures with them. And also go fishing and try Evenk cuisine.
