Wine tour

Azerbaijan, like the entire Transcaucasian region, is one of the ancient areas of cultivation and processing of grapes. This is evidenced by archaeological finds. The industry received rapid development in the Soviet period, when a large number of wineries and enterprises were created. Local grape varieties were created as a result of selection in each large populated area separately. Today, more than 7,000 hectares have been allocated for vineyards in Azerbaijan. Wineries with modern equipment are opening here, but the most important uniqueness of the cultivation of Azerbaijani grapes is in the climate, thanks to which the wine turns out very tasty.
